Create Your First Job Site

Quick Start:

1. Tap + button (bottom menu)

2. Enter job site name and client details

3. Add address (street, city, zip)

4. Choose status and save

Status Options: In Progress, Upcoming, On Hold, Completed

Photos & Documentation

Taking & Adding Photos

1. Open any job site

2. Tap Upload Photos

3. Choose camera or select from gallery

4. Photos are automatically compressed to save storage

Features: Auto-compression (~70% size reduction), batch upload, instant thumbnails, offline storage

Drawing on Photos

1. Tap any photo to open viewer

2. Tap Edit (pencil icon)

3. Draw annotations, measurements, notes

4. Choose pen color and thickness

5. Save as new or replace original

Perfect for: Marking measurements, highlighting issues, pointing out details

Photo Viewer

Gestures:

• Pinch to zoom in/out

• Swipe left/right between photos

• Swipe down to close

• Double-tap to zoom to fit

Recording Measurements

Flexible Input Formats:

• Imperial: 5'-3 1/4" or 12'6"

• Metric: 2m50cm or 150cm

• Decimals: 5.25 ft or 2.5 m

Quick Steps: Open job site → Add Measurement → Name it → Enter values → Save

Adding Notes

Keep detailed records for each job site. Notes are searchable and timestamped.

Common Uses: Client requests, material lists, meeting notes, inspection findings, contractor info, special instructions

Task Management

Color-Coded Status:

🔴 Red - Overdue (past due date)

🟠 Orange - Due Soon (within 3 days)

🟢 Green - Upcoming (more than 3 days)

View Options: List (Tasks tab) or Calendar - both show all job sites

Notifications

Get notified about important events automatically:

• Get ready for tomorrow (afternoon prep)

• Overdue task alerts (daily)

• Clock in/out reminders

• Overtime warnings

• Daily task summaries (morning)

Customize in Settings: Change times, enable/disable each type

Labor Tracker

Managing Employees

1. Go to Labor Tracker tab

2. Tap Add Employee

3. Enter name, role, and hourly rate

4. Employee appears in the list ready to clock in

Employee Stats: Each card shows total hours worked and earnings for the current week.

Clock In/Out

1. Tap Clock In when employee starts work

2. Select the job site they're working on

3. Button changes to Clock Out

4. Tap Clock Out when work is complete

5. Hours are automatically calculated and logged

Active Sessions: Green indicator shows who's currently clocked in.

Payroll Reports

1. Tap Generate Payroll Report

2. Select date range (week, month, or custom)

3. Review detailed breakdown by employee

4. Download PDF for records

5. Save to Archive for future reference

Report Includes: Employee details, hours worked, hourly rate, total earnings, and period totals.

Financial Management

Financial Dashboard

The Financial Overview tab provides real-time insights into your business finances.

Key Metrics:

• Total Revenue from all projects

• Outstanding Invoices to track

Managing Transactions

1. Tap Add Transaction

2. Select type: Income or Expense

3. Choose category (Materials, Labor, Equipment, etc.)

4. Enter amount and description

5. Link to specific job site if applicable

6. Add date and any notes

Pro Tip: Keep receipts organized by adding photos to notes.

Dark/Light Theme

Tap the theme icon (top-right) to switch between dark and light modes. Your preference is saved automatically.

Export & Backup

Important: Regular backups protect your data!

Settings → Export Data → Save file to cloud or email

Includes: All job sites, photos, measurements, notes, tasks, labor, finances

Tip: Export monthly for safety

Deleted Items

Deleted job sites can be restored for 30 days. Access via side menu → History

Soft Delete: Items stay in recycle bin until permanently removed

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

App not loading data: Force close and reopen. Data is stored locally, it's safe.

Photos not showing: Check storage space in device settings. May need to free up space.

Storage showing 0: Open Settings to refresh calculation.

Notifications not working: Check Settings → Notifications and iOS Settings → Forma → Allow Notifications

Reset & Refresh

Soft Reset: Settings → Refresh App (keeps data)

Hard Reset: Settings → Clear All Data (⚠️ permanent!)

Before hard reset: Always export data first!
